Well, today’s the day that this site is suppose to be fixed, but I can’t say I expect it to be running. The site has many flaws, many are serious. But let’s take a look at something simple, its a site which they know will be getting high traffic. I mean let’s face it, the government is forcing people to have insurance, so they will need to go and look. According to what I hear liberals say, there are some 30 million without insurance. If they want the insurance to start Jan. 1, they need to be enrolled by Dec. 23.
Now if one listens to Mr. Obama, we get the usual flap about him being concerned, and such. The problem is even with fixes, the site will only be able to handle 50,000 people at a time, maybe.
Whoa, what? 50,000 people at a time! There are some 30 million who they say need to sign up. Add to that only about 100,000 have signed up and we still get a lot of Americans who will be needing to purchase insurance. The report is that the site will experience some 100,000 to 250,000 users. Um, I guess math isn’t a strong suit, because if the site can handle 50k people, and they expect two to five times the number, I see problems ahead. Continue reading
